Various revisions of the Hamlet Evaluation System (HES) were used. This note collects information related to the revisions.

QTAB Question Description Record

QTAB Question Description Records are record in the HES Basic Master File that describe questions as part of the QTAB module. A note in the Basic Master File Description indicates that these records were added in a system revision:

The QTAB description records, one record·for each question, were added to the basic master file subsequent to the initial file design.
